Our Media Center is a dynamic learning space where students grow as readers, researchers, creators, and responsible digital citizens. Students visit both Library Class and Computer Class twice a week, where they build important library and technology skills that support learning across all subject areas.
In the library, students are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of reading by exploring a wide variety of books and checking out new titles weekly. To promote comprehension and accountability, students also participate in Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes that help track understanding and celebrate reading growth.
Technology is thoughtfully integrated into student learning through the use of iPads and other digital tools. These resources allow students to engage in interactive, creative, and collaborative learning experiences while building essential 21st-century skills. Our goal is to provide a balanced approach that combines hands-on learning, literacy, and meaningful technology use to prepare students for success both inside and outside the classroom.
